Hi Brian
I had a lesson with you at the end of June Eastwood.
I left that lesson totally inspired.
See you when the weather gets better
Brian this was a great and honest summary. I am lucky to have found you so you can help me (and you have) with my golf.
Thanks Brian, I always look forward to your videos, but wait untill I see you next. The flared pants and tartan cap, what a fashion guru. when I started coming to you I was playing off 24, I am now off 15. Never going to be a golf pro but I now enjoy my golf. And everytime I start to muck up I think back to those little hints in the back of my head. Chers Craig keep up the good work.
What a fascinating video Brian. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoy your videos every week. Your focus on enjoyment and score is a winner. I like the way you promote realistic expectations as well. Cheers
Hi Brian, A great Video about yourself. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your videos and your KISS way of coaching. You have taught me so much. One of the best coaches on the internet. Keep up the fantastic work. Cheers Joe
all this time ive been putting my pinky figner into the gap and not acutally overlapping it. I have also been using the bottom of my two fingers on the right hand all this time and not the middle of them. ive not been able to test this grip at a course yet but i can already feel diffrence just by gripping my club at home
Just wanted to let you know how much I've gained from your Youtube videos.
The concept of focusing on scoring while playing is so simple but also refreshing when compared to the many, many other golf videos on offer.
Your tips on short game have really helped me in my recent practice sessions. Last Saturday was our Monthly Medal in conjunction with Rd 1 of our Club Championships. I was either in the trees, or hit trees on 9 different holes. But still managed to scramble my way to a PB of Nett 64.
Letting go of the bad shots, focusing on the next one and having a great day with the putter made this round one to especially remember.
Thanks again Brian. Your golfing tips are very much appreciated and I've found them extremely useful.
Best regards
Greg (Hcp 18) [Now 15 ☺]

You're amazing Brian. A highest level of teaching, my hcp is 4 but I never had the honour to meet a teacher like you. Thank you.
Hi,
That's my season up for 2022.
I want to thank you for helping me getting my handicap down by 5 strokes over the season.
Didn't quite manage my target of 18 but at 19.8 hope to get there next year.
Of late I have found your short game videos very helpful in targeting how to lower my scores and intend concentrating on that area of my game over the winter months.
Many thanks.
Kenneth
I started watching your videos about 3 months ago and have completely changed my approach to the "game." Your approach to reducing the score ( short grass and short game ) ... has made playing this game much more enjoyable. I stopped playing 10 years ago because my score was usually 95+, and yet I could get the long ball out there beyond the folks I played with ( beyond but often in trouble) blah, blah, blah. Your videos for the average golfer like myself made perfect sense. So thank you for the insights to enjoy the game again. Well Done
Hi Brian,
Quick thank you for your coaching on Saturday Morning, your methods and explanation was so simple. Couldn't believe how much I improved my hitting. My son also improved his game.
Thank you also enjoying your emails

Hi Dr. I have been playing for 2 full years. I watch your videos and today I repeated to myself Hit the shot you know you can hit not the one you hope you can hit. Every hole. My previous best on a par 70 course was 88. Today it was 79. You and Mr. Short Game are the two best on YouTube by far.
itzygolfpro Thanks Brian! I find all of your videos to be informative and helpful! It's too bad your "down under" because I would be at your doorstep for lessons! Thankfully, these YouTube videos are the next best thing! Hopefully, more viewers will become subscribers and be better golfers for doing so!
Watched a lot of YouTube golf videos and this was one of a few that was immediately really helpful. The tennis racket comparison was really insightful. I was really overcompensating. Thank you!

Fitzy I went out today and practiced my game and shot 84 off the stick amazing!!! Not complicated but it worked. What can I say but thank you 😊
David Cavon
Just picked up on Fitzy Golf the other day... first, he wants me to hit the 7 out of 10 shot... then, he wants me to avoid bunkers on par 3's if I've trouble with getting out... now, he wants me to learn my club distances and club up to get on more greens... Fitzy I really wish you lived in Ontario Canada! I'd like to treat you to a round our two as a thank you for common sense instruction... keep it up!!!
Thanks, doc. After you reviewed my short game swing last spring, finally my hcp dropped at the level it used to be
This literally changed my ball flight 100%. I took lessons last winter and was told to have a strong grip and now my lead wrist. Helped my slice, but all my irons went about 110-120 tops. Just went to practice were I hit to a fence that’s about 100 yards away. Took out by five iron, which I can never hit. I rolled my wrists on the way back and through with a more neutral grip. It was probably thirty yards above that fence! No idea on the distance but it was by far the longest 5 iron I’ve ever it. Total game changer! You may have saved my game! Not exaggerating.
Hey Brian, thanks for a very informative and helpful lesson recently at Eastwood GC. The alignment move you showed me was very surprising , its something that nobody else (other lessons? has showed me? I will put in the work on this and hope to prevent my shots from going left so much. Also the grip change on the putter is working a treat on the practice green, so hopefully will out there as well? Thanks again and look forward to catching up soon with some news re the handicap? "SMITHY"
I have watched 2 -3 billion videos on this topic, no, I think it was actually more like 4 billion :-), but no one has explained it as well as you. I also used a few pros, without success. you have the gift and ability to explain things simply and understandably. that's just great . thank you. too bad i live on the other side of the world in munich in germany, otherwise i would drop by for a quick visit
You are now my fafourite teacher! A million million miles away from germany❤
Genius. Thanks mate. Don’t know how you do it but make the hard simple.
Hi Brian,
I am thoroughly enjoying your class.
I’ve learned more from you in a month than I’ve ever learned in the past.
I regret spending $$ on pros & got nowhere last year.
So I just played tennis & took up 10 pin bowling again, since I retired recently.
When this invitation came through my inbox I decided to give it another go.
Hopefully, with your professional guidance I’ll get back into golf to enjoy playing decent golf & not waste time hacking!😅
Many thanks for your patience & imparting knowledge so we & many others can enjoy golf.
Afternoon Brian,
Have been following some of your videos online and today shot an 85! Best round in a year ! I’m absolutely delighted and most definitely need to thank you for all the wonderful lessons you put on you tube.
Many thanks

Terrific drill & it does work. Brian is a great teacher. With his videos he's helped me get my "old" swing back after 2 back surgeries & I'm a 75 yr old woman who had a 2 handicap for a long time. My goal for this 'oldie' is to get to 5 a handicap! I'm confident with his help even tho I live a long way away in Texas. Thanks, Brian.
Hi Brian,
I had a lesson with you a few months ago. I'm the one that booked a Driver Calibration session, but really just need a Driver Lesson.
"Was that a good drive? No, it was just a heap of compensations that happened to come together". If I remember nothing else, I think this line of yours will keep me from trying to fix any future issues with further compensation.
It took a few weeks for the neutral grip to feel normal, but now I am saving the 6-8 shots a round by finding fairways, or at least only the rough on my own fairway (rather than in the treeline).
In my last 3 rounds, I've won twice with 40pts and most recently on Sunday with 43pts going around in a 79 off the stick. I really was not sure that I was going to get back down to a single digit handicap at age 50+ but I think I'm on my way. (Down to 12.3 after the weekend).
Incredibly, I can still see an easy 3-4 shots that I still left out there.
My drives have eliminated anything way right. I typically hit somewhere between a straight ball with a mild push to the right that ends up right side of fairway and a draw that will sometimes roll into the rough on the left side, but will often stay in the fairway. And long, even at this time of year. Typically 220m carry, with most rolling out to 240m all with a 90% effort. Occasionally I will go for a 95% effort and on the weekend it paid off on the 13th Par 5 with nearly a 300m drive down the right allowing my approach the green with a 6 iron and making birdie.
Just a big thanks again.
Regards,
Mark P
Your Vardon grip tutorial has been a real game changer for me … I’ve now broken 90 in my last two rounds and am striking the ball so consistently… Thanks
Brian I know you don't watch YouTube, but I do. There are top ranked PGA teachers in the US and the UK who only sporadically bring up drills like this - they are gold and here is you independently showing us this and many other world class drills which the vast majority of coaches don't even seem to get. So you are in a class of your own, thanks. I tried this with a 10kg kettlebell (not the throw!) the heaviness forces you to get the sequence right and made a huge difference to the feel of my swing. Thanks
Okay, I had a lesson with the Doc 13/11/24 specifically for bunkers. Within 10 minutes I was coming out of the sand like a pro! Saturday in bunker 3 times, out first time every time. His explanations make sense and his techniques work.
Thank you Brian for all your helpful tips of golf i'm using many of them that have helped my game. I started playing golf at 34 handicap now playing off 18 handicap thank you again; wishing you and your family a merry Christmas and a happy new year 2025
Hi Brian
Just following up from our last lesson with learning the 9 to 3 swing with my wedges.
It’s made an incredible difference!
I have hit greens that I consistently missed & even made some up & downs from 60 - 80 meters.
Something that I just wasn’t doing at all previously.
I took your advice & bought a second hand low bounce 60 degree which has also been very useful.
Thanks again mate & see you again soon.
My golfing journey started only a year ago, no handy cap YET as 99% of my golfing was at the driving range and only recently getting out on the courses and trying to figure out the game and the techniques as I go by myself. I'm not horrible but VERY inconsistent with my swing on every club in the bag.
I was lucky enough to do my very ever first golf lesson with Brian last week 4/12 as it was a gift given to me for my birthday. Brian seriously is the GOAT, he explains things so clearly and simply anyone can grasp them and apply them to their game and what you see in the videos is clear and simple but I can say its even more clear and simple in person. The simple techniques and skills I was shown in a 60 minute lesson has changed my golf game drastically over night.
After my lesson with Brian I played 18 holes at a local course on the weekend 6/12 weather and I shot 97 which was 22 strokes less than the last time I played(119) there a few months ago.
If you are struggling with your game and want to take some strokes off your game you need to see Brian.
Thank you Brian once again for the lesson. I will definitely be back for some more tips and tricks to lower the score even more.

Gr8 tip Brian, I remember we worked on this one together at Lang Lang. I have practiced from a variety of lies in trees, ie off sand, off hard pan, from rough and its so simple. Its amazing how far one can advance ball with good contact.
Look forward to your other on course videos.
